Ornamental Onions are showstoppers in late spring. Globe shaped blooms on thick three foot stems are squirrel proof and deer resistant. These perennial bulbs are nice “fillers” in mixed borders and flowers are excellent in dried arrangements. Once established in well-drained soils, Alliums require minimal care.

Fall Crocus (Colchicum)
Fall crocus add a nice color splash to the autumn garden. Blooms appear on naked stems with foliage emerging in spring. Cup shaped flowers are poisonous to garden pests. Colchicums tolerate partial shade and prefer a well-drained garden loam. They are fine companions to accompany our fall reblooming irises.
