American Iris Society - a nonprofit institution incorporated February 2, 1927, in the County of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania. By the terms of the Charter, the Corporation has no stockholders and exists for the sole purpose of promoting the culture and improvement of the Iris.

American Iris Society Region 4 - Develops the science of horticulture and any activities related to the study, propagation and culture of the genus Iris. They stimulate and foster interest in horticultural pursuits. Promotes conservation and protection of these plants, cooperates with other organizations (public and private) in the scientific and horticultural education of all those interested in learning any phase of the genus Iris.
