From Route 288 North

  • Take Rte 60 West to Rte 522 intersection (Powhatan Post office, Texaco and Chubby's gas station on alternate corners)
  • Make a right onto Maidens Road (Rte 522 North)
  • Go approx 4.3 miles to Cosby Rd. (Rte 621) (Tillman Farm Subdivision on Right)
  • Make a left on to Cosby Rd.
  • Go 1.2 miles to Black mailbox (D.L. Neese, 4110 Cosby Rd.) (Red farm building and fields both sides of the road.)
  • Make a right into driveway.
  • Entrance to Garden will be on the left by vegetable garden.

From Route 288 South
After crossing over the James River:

  • Take the first exit "Huguenot Trail"( Rte 711).
  • Bear right at the end of the ramp heading West on Huguenot Trail Rd. for 13.3mi
  • (Lucky's at Fine Creek convenience store is the halfway point at 6.7 mi)
  • At the intersection of Rte 522(BP station on right corner)
  • Make a left onto Maiden's Rd (Rte 522.)Go .8 mile.
  • Cosby Road will be the second right (Tillman Farm subdivision on left)
  • Make right onto Cosby Road (Rte 621) go for 1.2 mi.
  • Make a right at the black mailbox (D.L. Neese, 4410 Cosby Rd.)
  • Garden entrance will be on the left in front of the vegetable garden.
  

From Huguenot Trail

  • Travel 5.7 mi to Rte 288 interchange then follow directions from Rte 288 South

From Patterson Ave (Rte 6) and Rte 522 in Goochland

  • Cross the James River on Rte 522 heading south
  • Go approx. 5 miles to Cosby Rd.
  • Make a right onto Cosby Rd.
  • Go 1.2 mi. make a right at the black mailbox (D.L. Neese, 4410 Cosby Rd.)
  • Garden entrance will be on the left in front of the vegetable garden.
